Biography
Stefano has over 25 years of experience managing relationships with Financial Sponsors in Italy.
He is currently Partner responsible of Coverage Private Equity at BIP Corporate Finance&Strategy, following more than seven years at Natixis as Head of Financial Sponsors Coverage Italy, where he led numerous high-profile transactions with leading Private Equity firms including Blackstone, KKR, Investindustrial, Ardian, Antin, Stirling, CVC and others.
Prior to that, he spent over five years at Banca IMI (now IMI Corporate & Investment Banking), in Financial Sponsor’s team focusing on M&A transactions. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Investment Banking team at Credit Suisse in Milan, covering Financial Sponsors and mid-cap companies.He began his professional journey in audit with KPMG, before gaining further experience in venture capital at Saras and in structured finance at Interbanca.
Stefano holds a degree in Economics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
