Biography
Rodolfo Guarino, together with his partner Davide Tavaniello, founded Hippocrates Holding in May 2018, which today is the largest pharmacy chain in Italy, with over 500 directly operated stores (DOS) and more than 2,500 employees. In 2021, Hippocrates was acquired by Antin Infrastructure Partners, the leading European infrastructure investment fund. On that occasion, the co-founders reinvested in the company, maintaining their roles as Co-CEOs.
Guarino’s professional experience includes private equity at The Carlyle Group and investment banking at UBS. He holds a double Master’s degree with honors in International Management from Bocconi University in Milan and Fudan University in Shanghai.
