Biography
Associate Professor of Horticulture at the Department of Agricultural Sciences, University of Naples Federico II. His research focuses on the physiology and production technologies of plant species grown in controlled environments. He participates in research projects funded by the Italian Space Agency and the European Space Agency on plant cultivation in bioregenerative life support systems for space missions. He has also contributed to the development of the Laboratory of Crop Research for Space established by ESA at the Department of Agricultural Sciences in Portici.
