Biography
An entrepreneur, manager and banker, Corrado Passera also served as Minister of Economic Development, Infrastructure and Transport in the Monti Government. He led Banca Intesa and later Intesa Sanpaolo, as well as the turnaround of Poste Italiane. In 2018, he founded illimity, where he served as CEO until its acquisition by Banca Ifis in 2025. Since 2018, he has chaired the Accademia Musicale Internazionale di Imola Foundation. Since April 2026, he has served on the Board of Directors of MPS. He holds a degree from Bocconi University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He is a Knight of Labour.
