Between AI and corporate culture: a new chapter for digital humanism?

In the midst of the AI revolution, the challenge is not only technological but deeply human. Organizations are called to rethink their cultural and value frameworks: how do we work, lead, learn, and collaborate in an era dominated by artificial intelligences? This pillar was created to address a crucial question: what kind of corporate culture do we want to build around AI? Based on exclusive research focused on AI adoption, developed with the BIP Human Capital Centre of Excellence, we share previously unpublished insights into the real dynamics of artificial intelligence adoption within organizations. The survey investigates not only strategies and technologies but, above all, human and cultural factors. What are workers’ fears? How are leadership and skills being reshaped? What is the impact on inclusion, ethics, and well-being? Key themes emerge: the need for generative leadership, capable of building trust and guiding change; the demand for new skills and continuous learning paths; the urgency of integrating ethics, governance, and inclusivity as pillars of sustainable transformation. In this scenario, humans are not obstacles to progress but its necessary condition. Digital humanism, then, is not a return to the past but a conscious choice for the future.
